Abstract

We study a simple photorefractive circuit class represented by the two facing double phase conjugate mirrors (DPCMs),1 in which two DPCM junctions are coupled by oscillating light beams. Two other recently published configurations2,3 are shown to be equivalent to this device and are included and explained by our analysis. We also study the stability of the double valued solutions which our analysis gives. Our study4 is a different approach from a recently published suggestion.3
