Abstract

It is well known that a moving grating can be used for ultrafast process measurement,1 and Raman enhanced nondegenerate four-wave mixing (RENFWM) as a method of coherent Raman spectroscopy has also been reported.2,3 Here we propose RENFWM as a kind of frequency domain method for measurement of ultrafast transverse relaxation time. We studied the Raman enhanced signal in benzene by RENFWM.
