Abstract
The major attraction of optical data processing is the potential for high data throughput. We describe an all-optical high-resolution threshold detector which can be interfaced with other optical devices to attain this goal.1 The detector performs not only spatially resolved intensity thresholding but also temporal integration. We present new results which demonstrate both the high spatial resolution and temporal integrating properties of our device.
