Abstract

A mercury cadmium telluride (MCT) hybrid focal plane array (HFPA) is a microelectronic chip architecture that emulates in the IR the function of Si visible imagers.1·2 Like its visible counterpart, the MCT HFPA is a 2-D mosaic of detectors and self- scanned circuitry to read the signal from each detector.
