MILLIMETER-WAVE LIGHT MODULATOR USING LiNbO3 WAVEGUIDE WITH RESONANT ELECTRODE

Abstract

We have succeeded in modulating a light beam 633nm by a electric signal from 33 to 40GHz. With 220mW drive power, phase modulation 0,76rad was obtained at the center frequency 35.3GHz with a 5GHz 3dB-bandwidth.
