Broadband laser output obtained by a bandpassing-selected oscillation

Abstract

Compared with the narrowband laser beam, the broadband laser is more suitable for propagating, suppressing the laser self-focusing, and smoothing the spatial and temporal profile of the laser pulse and is helpful for uniformity of target illumination.
