Abstract

Wavelength injection-locking has been observed in many high-gain lasers, notably dye,1 Nd:YAG, and rare gas halide lasers. Power gains as high as 108 have been observed,2 We report here results of the first injection-locking experiments performed on alexandrite, a relatively low-gain broadly tunable solid-state laser.3
