High-speed optical modulators and signal processing

Abstract

High-speed electrooptical waveguide devices are discussed including an 1864-Hz bandwidth traveling wave modulator. Signal processing applications including multiplication of picosecond electrical signals and correlation of picosecond pulses from a GaAs semiconductor laser will be described.
