Abstract
The highest quality requirements for laser recorders are met in the printing industry in exposing page films or color separations. The main properties related to quality are resolution, geometric accuracy, and exposure uniformity. In this paper theoretical analysis and practical experience are presented with the aim of developing quality criteria for various applications.
