Polarization-sensitive optical coherence microscopy of human brain samples

Abstract

We demonstrate polarization-sensitive optical coherence microscopy imaging of human brain structures such as cerebral cortex and white matter as well as the brain stem. Samples of fetal and adult subjects were investigated.
