In vivo calcium imaging of information processing in mouse neocortex during behavior

Abstract

Information processing in the brain is based on neuronal network activity, which can be measured using in vivo two-photon calcium imaging. I will summarize progress on genetic calcium probes and microscopy techniques, enabling comprehensive imaging of neocortical network dynamics in behaving mice.
