Implantable semiconductor imaging devices for in vivo optical imaging of brain

Abstract

We present ultra-small and mass-producible semiconductor imaging devices for functional imaging of brain. Proof-of-concept experiments including blood-flow estimation and fluorescence imaging of the brain demonstrated promise for use in brain research.
