Abstract

We have developed a dual wavelength, frequency domain imaging system for mapping of brain functions. This imaging system combines cancellation mode (Phased Array) and spectroscopy mode (Phase Modulation Spectroscopy, PMS), which can provide high sensitivity and specificity results. Numerical simulation and experimental data are compared. The possibility of future clinical application is also explored in this paper.
