Analysis of Frequency-Domain Optical Mammograms Using Spectral Information

Abstract

Clinical trials of frequency-domain optical mammography have shown promising results giving a sensitivity of 76% and a specificity of 52%. The sensitivity of this method is further investigated by analyzing all false negative results. Specificity can be improved using spectral information.
