Abstract

We present a new approach for in vivo determination of size distribution of collagen fibers in human skin from spectral measurement of continuous-wave reflectance. Using measurements from a CCD-based spectroscopic system, successful recovery of size distribution of collagen fibers in the dermis of human skin is achieved through our regularized inverse algorithm.
