Depth localization of absorption changes by single distance time domain reflectometry on the adult human head

Abstract

An algorithm which distinguishes intra- and extracerebral absorption changes in the human head by time domain near-infrared spectroscopy is presented. We show its use for the interpretation of an injected dye bolus.
