Optoacoustic Technique for Non-invasive Continuous Monitoring of Blood Oxygenation

Abstract

We propose to use an optoacoustic technique for non-invasive and continuous monitoring of blood oxygenation. Our results demonstrate that this technique can potentially provide absolute values of blood oxygenation with submillimeter spatial resolution in tissues.
