Miniature Multimodal Optical Endoscopes for Early Cancer Detection

Abstract

Small endoscopes containing optical coherence tomography and fluorescence imaging can aid in detecting cancer at an early, curable stage. 0.8–2.0 mm diameter endoscopes for imaging human and mouse fallopian tubes and colon are presented.
