Human Iris 3D Imaging using a micro-Plenoptic Camera

Abstract

A micro-plenoptic system was developed to image the 3D structure of the human iris in single-exposure photographs. 3D iris patterns were effectively captured. Iris depth varied from 20~80 μm in a 4.9×3.9 mm2 area.
