Design of a low cost, high-performance, achromatic, two wavelength White Blood Cell imaging system

Abstract

We designed an achromatic microscope using off-the-shelf singlets and dichroic mirrors. The system chromatic performance was optimized for emission wavelengths of acridine orange. Application includes differential white blood cell (WBC) imaging in point-of-care settings.
