Probing mechanical processing in the ear using Volumetric Optical Coherence Tomography and Vibrometry

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We are developing technologies for 3-D reconstruction of ear morphology and vibratory function with subnanometer sensitivity. Mechanical processing of sound stimuli can be probed over wide dynamic range, from simple tones to intricate acoustic landscapes.
