Abstract
Polarimetry was performed on amyloid deposits (thioflavin S positive) in human postmortem retinas of those with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease. Mueller matrix properties and polarization contrast of this biomarker show promise as a non-invasive diagnostic.
