Hyper-NA (NA = 2.8) Microscope Using 1.55um fs Source for Multi-Photon Imaging

Abstract

A new microscope is discussed, where scanning illumination consists of NA = 2.8 with a λ = 1.55μm fs fiber laser. Near-infrared 2P collection is imaged with NA = 1.2. Biological applications are considered.
