Diffuse Optical Images of Neonatal Seizures

Abstract

We present the first ever images of neonatal seizures, obtained using simultaneous diffuse optical imaging and EEG in a brain-injured infant. The haemodynamic correlate of electrographic seizures is a consistent, high-amplitude, biphasic morphology.
