Intrinsic Two-Photon Excited Fluorescence of Sickle Cell Disease Tissue using Multiphoton Microscopy

Abstract

Ex vivo MPM imaging of intrinsic TPEF was performed on mouse splenic tissue. Distinct morphological and spectral features associated with SCD are demonstrated and discussed, providing feasibility for MPM implementation of in vivo monitoring studies.
