Pore formation in biological tissues under thermo-mechanical effect of laser radiation

Abstract

Laser-induced formation of pores in cartilage and sclera tissues is a basis of novel technologies for treatment of arthritis and glaucoma. Presented theoretical model describes dynamics of the pore formation and allows for optimizing laser settings.
