Monitoring neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer using quantitative photoacoustic tomography

Abstract

Quantitative photoacoustic tomography effectively monitor tumor response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer is presented. Recovered absolute total hemoglobin concentration and oxygen saturation maps are strongly correlated with MRI and ultrasound images.
