A MEMS Acoustic Multiplexer for Photoacoustic Tomography

Abstract

We report a novel MEMS-based acoustic multiplexer, which can selectively transmit ultrasound signals travelling in multiple channels. It could be used to develop ultrasonic receivers for photoacoustic tomography with reduced complexity and cost.
