Interferometric detection of Ca2+ signals in dissociated hippocampal culture

Abstract

To record Ca2+ transients in living cells, we combine fluorescence imaging and holographic interferometry at dissociated cultured neurons. The goal is to determine the endogenous Ca2+-binding ratio of function cell activity in neuron network in vitro.
