Macromolecular Crowding as a Regulator of Transcription

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Inspired by PWS experiments showing cell nanostructural changes in early carcinogenesis, we developed models to study changes in transcription due to macromolecular crowding. We find that crowding can lead to nonmonotonic regulation of transcription
