Towards Improving the“Detection” Power of Brain Imaging Experiments Using fNIRS

Abstract

To improve “detection” power, dynamical time warping averaging algorithm is introduced for averaging the hemodynamic responses across blocks. It is applied on N-back tasks and shown to offer improved performance, compared to conventional averaging.
