New windows into the brain: using glass to see deeper

Abstract

We present the use of simple glass structures, such as plugs, prisms, and prism-plug combinations, for chronic in vivo multiphoton microscopy of cortical and sub-cortical structures with high-resolution and large fields-of-view.
