Quantitative Optical Imaging of Vascular Structure and Function in a Model of Peripheral Arterial Disease

Abstract

Optical coherence tomography and hyperspectral imaging were used to monitor the vascular response to hind limb ischemia. Measurements showed increases in collateral vessel formation and hemoglobin saturation consistent with existing techniques.
