Abstract
Multi-spectral diffuse optical tomography (DOT) can image spectrally resolved highly scattering media. We have built a novel instrumentation for diffuse optical tomography using near-infrared (NIR) swept laser. The NIR swept laser is based on dual-semiconductor optical amplifier (dual-SOA) to obtain wideband spectral swept range from 780 nm to 870 nm. We also present a phantom measurement data. These results obviously demonstrate the capabilities of the NIR swept laser for multi-wavelength DOT.
