Abstract

The use of early time-bins in time-resolved near infrared (NIR) tomographic imaging has shown improvements in recovered resolution, while the late time-bins have shown to provide better imaging contrast. In this work we present a general method for the optimization of time-bins for accurate recovery of fluorophores in NIR tomography, which provide both high resolution and contrast, particularly in the presence of multiple targets.
