In vivo cytometry using two-photon autofluorescence microscopy

Abstract

We demonstrate an in vivo cytometry based on two-photon excited autofluorescence in zebrafish blood vessels. The plasma and NADH fluorescence provide contrasts for visualizing and counting of red blood cells and white blood cells, respectively.
