Effects of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation on Cerebral Hemodynamics Measured by Diffuse Correlation & Optical Spectroscopies

Abstract

Diffuse optical and correlation spectroscopies were employed to determine oxygenation and blood flow changes before/during/after 20-minutes of transcranial magnetic stimulation. A localized increase in oxygenation and CBF on the ipsilateral side of stimulation is found.
