Deep-Tissue Imaging of Morphology and Molecular Function with Multispectral Optoacoustic Tomography

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Multispectral optoacoustic tomography has been proving an excellent tool for simultaneous anatomical, functional and molecular interrogation of living tissues, owning to its versatile contrast and good spatial resolution. The talk deals with current applications, technical challenges and future perspectives of the method in biological research and the clinics.
