Broadband Scatter Spectroscopy Imager for Breast Tumor Margin Delineation

Abstract

A broadband scanning scatter spectroscopy imaging system has been developed to allow intra-operative assessment of lumpectomy tumor margins based on localized tissue scatter measures. Results from preliminary phantom measurements are discussed.
