Noncontact imaging of seizures using multispectral spatial frequency domain imaging

Abstract

Electroencephalography (EEG) is the current method for localization of epileptogenic foci, but is invasive and only sparsely maps. We present significant potential for noncontact monitoring of seizures using spatially-modulated light to map tissue optical properties.
