Abstract

A first-of-its-kind trans-rectal near-infrared optical tomography probe for non-invasive sagittal imaging of prostate has been developed. This trans-rectal NIR probe is designed to attach to a commercial biplane trans-rectal ultrasound for concurrent NIT/US imaging.
