Separation of Target Fluorescence Signal from In Vivo Autofluorescence Background Based on Their Temporal Signatures

Abstract

A novel method is presented to separate target fluorescence signal from autofluorescence background in vivo using their temporal features based on a-priori knowledge. The method is tested for GFP labeled tumors in mouse brain.
