Abstract

Simultaneous OCT and OISI were performed on rat somatosensory cortex during forepaw stimulation. The depth-integrated OCT signal correlates well with OISI signal, while OCT resolves layer-specific dynamics in functional activation patterns indicating retrograde vessel dilation.
