Abstract

We present a nonlinear DOT reconstruction using continuous wave data collected in cup geometry from the patient’s breast immersed in a scattering fluid that fills the space between breast and fiber tips. An estimated breast shape with optical properties fitted by the forward model is used as a start image to reach a convergence of the nonlinear reconstruction algorithm.
