Differential Optical Imaging Using Vasoactive Agents for Cancer Detection

Abstract

Infrared transillumination is used to detect cancerous tissue in a human xenograft mouse model. Vasoactive agents are used to provide exogenous contrast by altering response from blood chromophores hemoglobin and oxyhemoglobin.
