Abstract

A Fourier domain optical coherence tomography system is demonstrated, employing a commercial supercontinuum light source for the 1300 nm wavelength region. Ultrahigh axial resolution of <4.4 µm, imaging depths of >1 mm and 100 dB sensitivity are achieved.
