CW and Time Domain Methods to Prepare Accurately Calibrated Liquid Diffusive Phantoms at NIR Wavelengths

Abstract

Two procedures for CW and time-resolved instrumentations are described to calibrate at NIR wavelengths the reduced scattering coefficient of a diffusive medium and the absorption coefficient of an absorber with standard errors smaller than 2%.
