Depth Sensitivity Analysis of high-density imaging arrays for mapping brain function with Diffuse Optical Tomography

Abstract

Developing diffuse optical tomography methods for neuroimaging of humans is challenging due geometry and light level constraints. Analysis of multi-distant high-density imaging arrays shows the feasibility of imaging up to 20 mm depth within the adult brain.
