Rapid near-infrared optical tomography by spread-spectral- encoding of single broadband light source

Abstract

A novel spread-spectral-encoding technique that utilizes single broadband light source to achieve video-rate nearinfrared diffuse optical tomography is demonstrated. This approach presents the potential of implementing nearinfrared diffuse optical tomography at catheter-scale.
