Precision targeting with a tracking adaptive optics scanning laser ophthalmoscope

Abstract

We have designed and built a novel imaging system combining scanning laser ophthalmoscopy, active image stabilization, and adaptive optics for precise imaging and targeting of retinal structures. System capabilities are demonstrated in humans and animals.
